Checking out materials/ Circulation

To borrow materials, present your validated UCF ID at the library circulation (check-out) desk to receive a joint-use library card. Students may borrow up to ten items at a time for a period of three weeks. You may also renew or return items borrowed from the main campus library at the BCC/UCF library circulation desk.

Fines for overdue materials are $.25 per day per item up to a maximum of $5.00 per item. For lost items, patrons will be billed the cost of replacement plus a $7.50 processing fee.

Reserves

Class reserve materials are found at the circulation desk. These items include books, periodicals and other materials faculty reserve for specific courses. Request them by course name, number and professor. Faculty may place items on reserve by going to the circulation desk completing a reserve form. Reserve items that are late will be billed at $1.00 per day up to $5.00.

Reference/ Research Assistance

The library has electronic databases, indexes, journals, newspapers, telephone directories and reference works. Some information is available in full-text.
